While it may seem like USC is a modern and cutting-edge campus, it still features so many relics of the past. When tasked with capturing images that fit the theme of “Time Travel,” I looked back to my first tour at USC all those years ago. I retraced my steps to film exhibits in the George Lucas Building, to gold medals in Heritage Hall and to the ever-changing exhibits at Doheny Memorial Library. And of course, I can’t forget the building that started it all: the Widney Alumni House. Almost 150 years after its founding, USC still has all sorts of bits and pieces from a bygone age. From our Olympic legacy to books nearly a thousand years old, USC has a spectacular archive of “old things” to look at. So whenever you’re not in line at Dulce, go on a little stroll around University Park and see what you can check off to say you’ve done a little time travel.
