Don Toliver lights up Springfest

From dreamy vocals to intense mosh pits, Springfest 2025 had something for every Trojan.

As the lights dimmed inside the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, a sudden silence fell over the crowd Friday night. Seconds later, a roar erupted as hundreds of students leapt to their feet, screaming in wild anticipation. As Don Toliver emerged on stage, the stadium rocked with energy.

Before Toliver’s electric set concluded the night, Lyn Lapid opened the headlining act with an intimate, emotional performance. Lapid’s set exuded a nostalgic and peaceful vibe, weaving in moments of wistfulness with songs such as “poster boy.” Springfest also highlighted USC’s musical talent with student bands like Small Talk and thebandfriday opening the festival.

Toliver brought an intense set that transformed the stadium into a full-blown traditional concert experience, featuring hit tracks such as “TORE UP” and “No Pole.”
