The School of Dramatic Arts announced Wednesday afternoon that McKinley Belcher III will deliver the keynote address at its commencement. The actor graduated with a Masters of Fine Arts in acting from the school and has gone on to have feature roles in “Eric” and “Zero Day,” the former earning him a BAFTA nomination.

“[Belcher’s] journey from our MFA program to acclaimed performances on stages and screens exemplifies the artistic excellence we strive to instill in our students,” wrote Dean Emily Roxworthy in the announcement. “In McKinley, our graduating class will hear from someone who once sat where they sit now.”
