Village entrances to require ID ‘temporarily’ ahead of protest

Multiple advocacy groups not affiliated with the University announced a “blockade” at 6 p.m. at USC Village.

Beginning at 2 p.m. Friday, visitors wishing to enter USC Village will need to present a USC or government-issued ID, the University announced on Instagram. The announcement states that the change will take place “temporarily.”

On April 15, USC Students for Justice in Palestine, USC Faculty for Justice in Palestine and USC Student Coalition Against Labor Exploitation — all advocacy groups not affiliated with the University — announced a “blockade” at USC Village scheduled for 6 p.m. Friday.
