Daily Trojan Spring 2024 staff wins LA Press Club award against professional outlets

The paper took home a combined five awards, including four first-place prizes on Sunday.

The Daily Trojan received five awards from the Los Angeles Press Club at the 67th Southern California Journalism Awards banquet on Sunday. 

The Spring 2024 staff won a first place award for its Spring 2024 encampment coverage, beating out the Los Angeles Times and a combination of California State Los Angeles publications. Staffers also took home three first-place awards and one second-place award for individual pieces of content.
