Date Night

Steve Carell, Tina Fey, Mark Wahlberg, Kristen Wiig and James Franco are only a few of the names that compose a preposterously talented and entertaining cast. Carell and Fey play the Fosters, a couple whose stagnant relationship is turned on its head by a date that does not go as planned.

The twists and turns of this neo-noir thriller begin when an adulterous couple attempts to commit larceny. The film’s writers and directors, the Edgerton brothers, have drawn comparisons to the Coen brothers in their Fargo-esque interpretation of small-town criminals.

After.Life

A young woman (Christina Ricci) wakes up in a funeral home and is told by the undertaker (Liam Neeson) that she is dead. What follows promises to be a dark, twisted and claustrophobic tale that should leave viewers guessing until the last second.
