Many different Hispanic nations were celebrated at the event, from Ecuador and Panama to Mexico and Argentina.
Lotería, a staple bingo-style game in many Mexican households, was played using the traditional method of dried beans.
The Break On 2 dance club offered introductory salsa lessons to attendees, showcasing their latin fusion dance roots.
Carol Folt, the president of USC, and other notable faculty, alumni, staff and students shared some remarks with the crowd.
Ballet folklórico, a style of Mexican dance, was performed by a dancer in the traditional colorful dress complete with embroidery.
The celebration of Latine culture included a performance by Los Troyanos Mariachi, the official USC student-led mariachi band.
The Imperials car club president addressed the crowd. The club was founded in 1965 and is one of the most respected lowrider clubs.
Mariachi is one of the most celebrated styles of Mexican music and its beautifully crafted charro outfits are iconic.
