Fall 2024 Daily Trojan photos of the semester
Every semester, the Daily Trojan photo staff take hundreds of thousands of photos across the various sections. From sports matches to protests to concerts to anything else you can think of, a photographer is always on the scene day or night, rain or shine. There is a high standard held for the photo staff that is consistently met with expert-level, award-winning photography that has gone on to be featured on NBC, TIME and more.
As the semester came to a close, Photo Editor Henry Kofman had the tough job of taking a look back at all the photos taken to pick the best of the best. Ultimately, he selected 15 images as the Fall 2024 “Photos of the Semester.” These images capture the holistic views that the photo section holds to capture news in a truthful way, to create images and to build full and fascinating stories through the still image.
