UPDATE (3:11 p.m.): A USC Student Coalition Against Labor Exploitation protest organizer said in a speech to protesters that there will be community patrols in South Central Los Angeles to “keep our community members safe.”

They listed demands in front of the Trousdale North entrance: USC to ban Immigration and Customs Enforcement from campus, make a public statement in support of undocumented students, create resources to protect undocumented students and inform students when ICE is on campus.

The protest was hosted by USC SCALE and USC Students for Justice in Palestine — both advocacy groups not affiliated with the University — among other organizations.
