Four USC players nab end of season Pac-10 honors

Juniors Ashley Corral and Briana Gilbreath were two of the 15 players selected for the All-Pac-10 Team, while redshirt senior Jacki Gemelos was selected as an All-Pac-10 Honorable Mention in a vote of the conference’s 10 head coaches.

Cassie Harberts earned a spot on the All-Freshman Team, as well.

Gilbreath was also named to the All-Defensive Team for the third consecutive year, as well as the All-Pac-10 Team for the second straight year.

The versatile guard from Katy, Texas has made her mark in the USC history books, currently standing at No. 16 in career scoring with 1,173 points and No. 7 in career blocks with 119.

Gilbreath leads USC in scoring, rebounding, steals and blocks.

She also ranks second in the conference in steals with 2.6 per game and third in blocks with 1.5 per game.

Corral ranks in some of the top statistical categories for USC, as well.

She is currently No. 19 in career scoring at USC with 1,084 points, and currently holds the record for most three-pointers made at USC with 200.

Corral leads the team in assists this season, and is second in scoring on the team.

She ranks No. 9 all-time at USC in career assists.

Formerly the No. 1 recruit in the nation coming out of high school from Stockton, Calif., Gemelos struggled to get on the court before this season while suffering four ACL tears.

Now, in her first full season on the court for USC, Gemelos was named an All-Pac-10 Honorable Mention.

In her first season, Harberts has become a consistent low-post threat for the Women of Troy, and is the only player to start every game for USC.

The forward from San Clemente, Calif. is fourth on the team in scoring with 9.3 points per game and third in rebounding with 5.7 per game.
