As one might imagine, these two come as a pair.

REQUIREMENTS:
Content —
  • Filter > Offset number > “Deactivate offset”
Styling —
  • Appearance > Preview image size > Set image size manually
  • #hp-main-feature-img ONLY: Appearance > Custom image size > No Scaling (Original Width x Original Height)
  • Pagination > 1 post. No pagination.
Advanced —
  • Developer Settings > set appropriate IDs

#hp-ae-main-feature

A smaller, one-column version of a headline-with-photo block.

REQUIREMENTS:
Content —
  • None. Keep defaults.
Styling —
  • Appearance > Preview image size > Set image size manually
  • #hp-main-feature-img ONLY: Appearance > Custom image size > No Scaling (Original Width x Original Height)
Advanced — set appropriate id.
Remember to have a separator (“Separator/Whitespace” block) underneath. The Default Separator/Whitespace block is fine.

#hp-sub-main-feature-list

List of headlines and bylines only.

Content —
  • Filter > Offset Number > Do not duplicate posts
Styling —
  • Pagination > Post Number > [however many]
  • Pagination > Pagination > yes
Advanced — set appropriate id
