The following incidents were reported in the USC Dept. of Public Safety incident report summary between Thursday, March 23, and Friday, March 24.
Crimes against property
At 8:10 a.m. on March 23, a staff member reported a female on a bicycle who collided with the university tram he was driving as he drove through the gate at 34th Street and Figueroa Street, which caused damage to the tram.
At 12:29 P.M. on March 23, a wallet was turned into DPS Lost and Found, after being found on the Metro train outside unspecified USC area.
At 12:07 a.m. on March 24, a student reported his bicycle stolen while at 1198 29th St.
At 10:55 a.m. on March 24, a male suspect attempted to remove a bicycle from Parking Lot V. He was interviewed and released by DPS officers.
At 12:25 p.m. on March 24, a suspect removed a bicycle placed outside the Charlotte S. and Favre R. Davidson Continuing Education.
At 2:38 p.m. on March 24, a student reported his cell phone and wallet stolen while at 627 30th St.
Miscellaneous incidents
At 9:40 a.m. on March 24, a patient at the Keck School of Medicine left without a release from his doctor.
At 11:01 a.m. on March 23 in the Physical Education Building, Facilities Management Services responded to and conducted repairs from a water leakage dripping from the ceiling to the basement hallway.
At 11:29 a.m. on March 23, a student was treated after receiving a cut above his eye.
At 5:38 p.m. on March 23, while a student was driving in Parking Structure One, her vehicle collided with a non-USC female driving her own vehicle. The student experienced an injury to her back and stated she would pursue medical treatment on her own.
At 6:20 p.m. on March 23, a radiation alarm was activated at the Keck Hospital of USC by contents from a trash bag.
At 6:56 p.m. on March 23, three suspects were detained for a burglary investigation on Orchard Ave. One was arrested for outstanding warrants.
At 7:23 p.m. on March 24, several students were cited while at 32nd Street and Figueroa Street for underage drinking and possessing fake ID’s.
