The Political Student Assembly held their weekly general meeting Monday night in the Ronald Tutor Campus Center. The meeting featured a discussion titled “The Future of One Country, Two Systems,” which focused on the protests in Hong Kong and their effect on the Chinese political system.

The forum, part of the Los Angeles Innovation Week series of events, offered insight into the role education can play in innovation.

Perfect harmony

Carl St. Clair, principal conductor and artistic leader of the USC Thornton Symphony, leads a performance Thursday night in Bovard Auditorium. The orchestra performed Andrzej Panufnik’s Tragic Overture and Harmony; A Poem for Chamber Orchestra as well as Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No. 1, “Titan.”
