The following incidents were reported in the USC Department of Public Safety daily incident log on Wednesday, Feb. 8.

Miscellaneous incidents

at 11:01 p.m., DPS officers responded to a female student in  Mudd Hall who was suffering from an allergic reaction because of unknown cause. The student’s friend had administered epinephrine to the student before the officers arrived and her symptoms began to subside. An LAFD RA unit was requested and Unit #15 responded. The RA Unit examined the student and transported her to California Hospital for medical treatment

at 5:27 p.m., DPS officers responded to a student who injured his ankle while playing basketball in the Lyon Center. The officers examined the student and transported him to the University Park Health Center for medical treatment.

at 2:18 p.m., DPS officers responded to a traffic collision involving four vehicles at the intersection of Jefferson Boulevard and Hoover Street. Multiple LAFD units were at the scene and RA Units #14 and 876 transported an unknown number of injured parties for medical treatment. There was no USC involvement.

at 12:45 p.m., a staff member in the Zilkha Neurogenetic Institute said she has been the subject of ongoing harassment by her boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend and it has caused her to fear for her safety.

at 8:15 a.m., DPS officers responded to a student who was struck by a vehicle while crossing the street near Adams Street and Portland Boulevard. The student sustained an injury to her leg and she was being examined by LAFD RA Unit #15 when the officers arrived.  The student was released at the scene after declining transportation for medical treatment. LAPD officers also responded to conduct a traffic investigation.
