Crimes against a person

At 11:52 p.m. on Feb. 12, DPS officers on routine patrol observed a non-USC male and a non-USC female involved in a physical altercation near 7-11 and detained them for investigation. LAPD officers responded to take over the investigation, and the male was subsequently arrested.

At 6:16 p.m. on Feb. 11, a student reported that she was struck by a vehicle while riding her bicycle near 32nd and Figueroa streets and the driver left the scene without stopping to check on her welfare. The student sustained an injury to her side, but she declined when the officers offered to request an LAFD RA unit. LAPD officers were requested and they responded to conduct a traffic investigation.

At 7:55 a.m. on Feb. 12, DPS officers responded to a report of a motor vehicle burglary having just occurred near Alpha Delta Pi and detained two suspects as they attempted to flee on foot. The officers recovered a laptop computer that one of the suspects had abandoned on the ground and, during questioning, the suspect said he removed it from a vehicle after the second suspect smashed one of its windows. Both suspects were arrested and transported to 77th station for booking.

Miscellaneous incidents

Hey thanks for the map as it clears up a lot of misconceptions about crime around SC. It clearly shows that most of the crime is committed by Greeks on or near the Row just as I suspected. I think DPS should do us all a favor and start naming the Frats so we know who to be most worried about.
