Feeling the blues? Here’s a playlist for a bad day

You slept through your alarm. You spilled your PSL down the front of your white tee. Your bike chain came loose. Your exam didn’t go so well. You’re overwhelmed by midterms. Your friends went home for the weekend and you’re feeling homesick.

Though the name of this playlist is vague, I guarantee it will help. These aren’t so much songs for a bad day as they are songs for helping you acknowledge it’s been a bad day and helping you move on from there. It’s pretty heavy on the slow and steady, but by the time you get to “So American” and “Float On,” I promise it’ll be “Blue Skies” calling — and if I’m wrong, listen to Noah and the Whale’s “Blue Skies” on your own time.

There are good days and there are bad days. If this is one of the latter, take a long breath and hit play.
