Thornton announces Remi Wolf as commencement speaker

The acclaimed musician and Thornton alum will also receive the Outstanding Alumni Award at the ceremony.

The Thornton School of Music’s commencement speaker will be singer-songwriter Remi Wolf, the school announced in a press release Tuesday. Wolf is best known for her upbeat pop songs such as “Photo ID” and “Cinderella” and has performed at Coachella and Lollapalooza.

Wolf, who earned her bachelor’s degree from USC’s popular music program in 2018, will also receive the Outstanding Alumni Award at the ceremony, according to the press release.

The Thornton commencement ceremony will take place May 16 at Epstein Family Plaza.
