Restless to show at Festival de Cannes

Restless, the film by Gus Van Sant, will open the Un Certain Regard section at the Festival de Cannes. 

The director, known for films such as My Own Private Idaho, Good Will Hunting and Milk, is no stranger to the Festival de Cannes. In 2003, he walked away with the Best Director and Palm d’Or prizes for his work on Elephant.

Restless stars Mia Wasikowska and Henry Hopper, and focuses on a terminally ill teenager girl who meets and falls in love with a boy who enjoys attending funerals.

Restless is scheduled to be released by Sony Pictures Classics in the fall.
