As the decade comes to a close, administrators, professors and even the football coach take a look back at the 10 years that were. From the birth of a football juggernaut to the Campus Center groundbreaking, these are some memories we won’t soon forget.

We are the champions

Los Angeles Lakers fans gathered outside of USC’s Galen Center last Wednesday to watch the parade celebrating the team’s first championship since 2002. The parade began at the Staples Center and ended at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, where approximately 90,000 fans watched a ceremony honoring the team. The Los Angeles Times reported 150,000 fans watched the parade, which ran along Figueroa Street.
