Fall 2024 Photos of the Semester


As the semester came to a close, Photo Editor Henry Kofman had the tough job of taking a look back at all the photos taken to pick the best of the best. Ultimately, he selected 15 images as the Fall 2024 “Photos of the Semester.” These images capture the holistic views that the photo section holds to capture news in a truthful way, to create images and to build full and fascinating stories through the still image.

Noir still lives in the world today through “The Batman” (2022), “Nightcrawler” (2014), most of Tim Burton’s films and now "The Weekly Frame.” Staff photographers Ana Hunter, Kayden-Harmony Greenstein and Maryam Rahimie set out to photograph the iconic look of noir for this week's edition.
