Alumnus Corey White practices javelin on Cromwell Field on Monday. White, who holds the USC school record for farthest javelin throw (270 feet), is preparing for the 2012 London Olympic Games. White was 13 centimeters away from the Olympic “A” standard and qualifying for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
