Overheated boiler triggers alarm at PED

Firefighters responded to an alarm Wednesday afternoon at the Physical Education Building (PED) after a boiler motor overheated. According to DPS Capt. David Carlisle, the boiler overheated and began to smoke, which automatically triggered an alarm. Firefighters responded to the scene, as per protocol.
