USG voting to begin tomorrow

Voting for USG Senators and Presidential tickets will begin tomorrow, after two weeks of successful campaigning.

Despite low voter awareness and turnout for the debate last week, more students around campus seem prepared for the elections than before.

There was talk last week about how quietly the campaigns were running, especially compared to previous years, but when the voting booths open up things tend to get louder.

“It’s an exciting chance to see your candidate win and change things around campus,” said Rachel Lipari, a freshman majoring in psychology. “I haven’t really heard much about it this year, and I had no idea when or where the debate was held. I definitely plan on voting, I just don’t know where it will be happening.”

The booths will be set up in four locations around campus from tomorrow until Thursday, and anyone who misses them can cast their votes online at usg.usc.edu.
