National Signing Day: 15 prospects sign with USC


As of 3:00 p.m. PST, 15 players, in addition to the eight early enrollees, have faxed signed letters of intent to USC, announcing that they will play college football for the Trojans next fall. In regards to Isiah Wiley, he did not qualify academically earlier, and as a result, was unable to enroll in school early.

Additionally, Amir Carlisle is recognized as the all-time leading rusher for Santa Clara County with 5,108 rushing yards and 28 touchdowns. During his senior year, he rushed for a school record of 2,110 yards, averaging 9.59 yards per carry and scoring 28 touchdowns. Carlisle achieved a 5,108 yard high school career record while at The King’s Academy and was honored as TKA Football’s Most Valuable Player. In addition to football, Carlisle has exemplified leadership, hard work, and strong character throughout his high school career excelling in football, basketball, track, and community service.
