Sidney Hopson, a graduate student studying percussion performance and a member of Thorton’s Percussion Esemble, plays “Dark Full Ride,” composed by Julia Wolf at Alfred Newman Recital Hall on Monday. The Thorton Percussion Ensemble, directed by Professor Joseph Pereira, also played music by Elliot Carter.
